Adolfo Cervantes

Adolfo holds a Master of Public Affairs (DC Concentration) from the LBJ School of Public Affairs at the University of Texas at Austin. He earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education (ITESM), a Master’s in Public Administration from Mexico’s National Institute of Public Administration (INAP), and a specialization in Public Management from the Latin American Faculty of Social Sciences (FLACSO).

During his undergraduate studies, Adolfo interned in the marketing department at Bimbo in Santiago, Chile. He also participated in a Politics and Public Policy program at The Washington Center, where he interned full-time at a Hillary Clinton Super PAC in Washington, D.C.

Following graduation, Adolfo spent seven years in state government in Guerrero, Mexico. He served as an advisor to the Secretary of Government and Public Affairs and later as Director of the State Council of Population. In this role, he collaborated with the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), the federal government, and NGOs to design and implement public policies informed by sociodemographic data. His contributions include authoring and co-authoring a handbook and multiple research articles on public policy, published by the United Nations and the Guerrero state government.

Currently, Adolfo oversees public affairs at the U.S.-Mexico Foundation and plays a key role in leading the North Capital Forum, an initiative by the USMF that aims to position North America as a leading economic, social, and political force on the global stage.
