Cynthia Martínez
Cynthia Martínez, an International Affairs specialist with 20 years of expertise in public diplomacy, communications, international business, and development, brings a wealth of experience. As a former member of the Mexican Foreign Service, she contributed to enhancing political, economic, cooperation, education, and multilateral ties in diplomatic assignments at the Embassies of Mexico in the United States, El Salvador, and the Embassy of Mexico and Permanent Mission to the UNEP and UN-Habitat in Kenya.
In her role as the Director for Government Relations in Latin America at Forte, a pioneering global startup addressing the IT skill crisis with a pay-per-results model, Cynthia significantly contributed to the growth of the project pipeline across the region. She has also provided consultancy expertise for the Impact Evaluation Unit of the World Bank and the Social Sector of the Inter-American Development Bank, contributing to the position of a renewed vision of the digital economy to improve social service delivery in the region.
Cynthia's academic credentials include a Global Master of Arts Program from The Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy, a master’s in digital Strategy and Creativity from the Autonomous University of Barcelona, and a BA in International Relations from the Autonomous Technological Institute of Mexico (ITAM). Fluent in Spanish and English and proficient in French and Croatian.
